ABOUT FILAMENTALLY SOUND
Built for People Who Need Something Made.
Filamentally Sound started with a simple idea: 3D printing is a lot more useful when it solves an actual problem.
We’re a small, owner-operated Pennsylvania business focused on prototypes, replacement parts, functional components, and small production runs. Sometimes that means helping turn an idea into its first physical prototype. Sometimes it means recreating a part that can’t be bought anymore. And sometimes it’s simply making 20 good parts without requiring someone to order 2,000 of them.
Every project gets looked at by a real person. We’ll talk through what the part needs to do, help choose a material that makes sense, and tell you when we think there’s a better way to approach it.
We’re building Filamentally Sound around something pretty simple: make useful things, communicate clearly, and do work we’re comfortable putting our name on.
